OMG Steve, I purchased your 531 page BIF Ebook and I'm only on page 168 so far and seriously... I'm struggling to put it down, or rather I never want it to end. It feels like you know me and have personally written it just for me. It's absolutely fantastic and for anyone thinking about "should I get it" stop thinking and just go on faith. I know this video is also excellent, but firstly there's so much more great content in the book and secondly, reading rather than watching and listening to someone else, just helps you retain information so much easier. Steve, I've got an R6 MKII and your info has got light bulb moments going off for me everywhere. I just had to pause reading and let you know how priceless your book is and tomorrow is going to be the best photography day for me since starting about 7 months ago and I'm seriously excited about putting what I've learnt from you into practice, so thanks millions 👍

Congratulations on an extremely well written book, complete with humour. I'm a newbie and still getting wall worthy shots. Thanks for the guidance, I look forward to ordering another book from you. Thanks so much! I'm planning a review, but I don't have the camera yet - or a place to shoot it! Or my 600 F/4 (it died) - and I can't get it repaired at the moment. So, it may be a bit of a wait. I too am very curious about it. I have a feeling ISO performance and AF might be noticeable improvements - and that's really saying something!!

Always good tips Steve!! I recently learned a new trick that I haven't heard of before. I use a Nikon D500 for my wildlife shooting. (I'm not sure if this tip is achievable with other brands that I'm not familiar with.) I have my D500 set for single point / continuous, back button focus using the AF-On button as you would expect. The new trick is I now have my Joystick set up so when I press it, the camera uses Group + AF. As you well know, Nikon group mode uses 4 AF points in a cluster as 1 point.......so like having 1 large AF point which has upped my keeper rate for sure. This has been working well for me as I use the regular back button (AF-ON) focus for stationary birds and then if the bird takes off, I then move my thumb to the joystick to take advantage of Group + AF while the birds are in flight. I love the challenges of bird photography and enjoy the tips from your videos, so I thought this was an opportunity to maybe give something back. Craig, Alberta, Canada
