Very interesting: this is originally a drum n bass track. It was pressed onto a 12" vinyl that was meant to be played at 45 rpm, but here it is at 33 instead. I like tracks like this one, because they translate into breaks very well. :D

DUDE so many records uploaded are at 33 1/3 and not at the correct 45 speed Lol. drives me nuts. play at 1.25 speed and it sounds way better

Are you sure about this? Sounds like a breakbeat track to me (how the break is programmed). Every single upload of this track on YT is also in this same speed.

Haha, so you guys are right. I wonder where I got that from... ok, now I remember. When I found it the sleeve had a dnb sticker attached to it, so that was the first genre that came to mind when I tried dropping it and it just happened to work. But I made a mistake, and I'd like to thank you for pointing it out. It's a breaks track after all.

Thank you all for the replies, I will post here an updated response... I will leave the original comment as is, but I believe now that my past perspective was skewed and mistaken. Once upon a time I played this track at 45 rpm and it absolutely slayed. I even slowed it down a bit and I was convinced that I had found the track's true nature. But alas, it is a brealbeat track that I had over-accelerated. It's perfectly deep and dirty at 33 rpms, props to Backdraft for this monster that can TRANSFORM at a higher velocity and still render universes harmonic. Cheers. :)
