I noticed most in rural areas do not compact the foundation with the compacting machine. In the city i see it done in layers and finally the hardcore on top . But all in all it works both ways😂

Good progress Mr Isaac..i think from the video I can see three works ongoing 1. Excavation of vegetable soil - done by the two hardworking ladies 2. Ramming of backfilled materials/soil around the foundation wall to receive hardcore- done by the guy in yellow cap & blue pants 3. Hardcore packing/filling - done by the fundi in black t-shirt and white hat Backfilling is the placement of suitable material e.g murram into the space left between foundation walls and sides of excavated trench in rammed layers of 150mm up to the level where hardcore packing begins. Ensure you treat your trenches with anti termite chemical before you backfill. Ditto on murram blinding before slab casting. Otherwise good job my friend continue enlighting the masses.
