I have a lovely husband (here in NZ), however, I wish he was more supportive like Tom and more tolerant of my buying/selling! Mel, not everything has to be in Auspost padded mailer - you know normal mailing boxes most likely cheaper and may suits certain type of large items - if I were you I will reuse Auspost original padded mailer box to ship that large book. Bubble wrap the book if you have to, then put inside the box, then resize down the box to fit the thickness of the book.

You've given me the courage to start an eBay sales account myself. I have an entire house to shift before I start renovations next year. Based on the above, I would very much like to see Tom do a pick and pack. If possible could you please ask him what brand he is using to clean and polish his CDs and DVDs please? The cleaners I'm seeing on ebay, amazon etc seem to be sketchy from KZbin reviews. I need something that's automated because I've got a few hundred to shift. Those little kits with the liquid and a cloth are expensive and impractical. Thankyou very much in advance.

One thing that worries me on the set it and forget listing on eBay, is that we know eBay sometimes loses or deletes listings. I wonder how many items are no longer listed on eBay. I just took a physical inventory on mine and didn't lose any, but I think that attributes to me ending and sell similar listings right before they expire, which keeps them fresh. But, I only have 1600+ active listings in doing this. 🤣

I notice that here in the USA, we do not get the higher prices for the same books that you do........... NOt sure why, but we can only charge less or it will not sell.

Hi Mel, it seems you don’t have an automatic response set for offers made by customers. I’m curious why you don’t just let the system handle this rather than going back and forth to often accept a significant discount anyway. I list my desired price then add my bottom line in the offers section. Any offer between best price and bottom line is automatically accepted and buyer must pay 💰
