Thank you Mel for the bundling Idea in the last video. I was about to list one of 6 1990s computer cables I have. Instead I bundled them all together and they sold within 2 hours of listing for US$41.99. An excellent price for the buyer and I was very happy to get rid of all 10 pounds (4.56KG) of old stock. You inspire me and I am sure many others.

Thomas Hardy is a very famous classical English romantic author from the 1800s. Hardy country, the name of your book, would be paintings/landscapes done in the locations he used to base his books in. Tess of the d'Urbervilles is probably his best-known book, which you may have heard of.

New subscriber here (finally). I sell books & DVDs on eBay AU and have done for a few years. I photograph & list items accurately and have 100% positive feedback and all 5 stars for the ratings. Now to the point, I've seen with other sellers where buyers leave unfair feedback for them because they didn't enjoy the book / movie they purchased. I look at the listing & the seller has done nothing wrong. Selling media on eBay this is my greatest fear! I always wonder with such high-volume sales if this has ever happened to you and how you deal with it.? Apologies for long comment & being off topic!

Hey Mel.... for your Q&A video (I hope you see this first)... where would you rank each of the "Tasks" that you need to do for your business - Sourcing, Photography, Listing, Dispatch etc? There are obviously some things that only you could do (Sourcing for instance), but the need to employ somebody would likely lie with what you rank the lowest priority that doesn't need you do?

Art books are not a fast seller. I have quite a lot of art books and some do fetch high prices but its very random. A beautiful art book may be worth peanuts while the crappy one next to it will be worth $50-100. Its basically a game of 'comp everything'. The only ones I pick up that sell consistently are the Australias famous artists book series. $20-30 each. Otherwise its what catches my interest as Im an artist also.

I'm not anywhere near finished watching, but I thought of a couple of things I wanted to mention. When you have non-fiction books that contain a table of contents, consider adding a picture of that list. People might find it helpful.Michael Crichton= Michael Cry-ton and oh yeah, I was going to ask if you can do a little HowTo on picking keywords. What do you look for, how do you choose, how many do you use? Mel, you are kicking ass and taking names!! Google offers the perfect definition for that phrase! 😂

Are those companies in the Australian market? Selling contemporary books in the USA is definitely more challenging, due to sellers like thriftbooks and zuber that sell books for $5 free shipping (or less). But it was my understanding that such sellers are not in AUS. I'm sure it will eventually happen though, but I think part of the issue is that the US has discounted shipping and various contracts for some sellers that make it possible to price so low. I'm not sure if Australia's postal system would do those discounts, which I think is part of why Amazon has had problems making headway there.
