Could someone tell me the second progression is Gm7 C7 FM7 or Dm7 G7 CM7? when i play C major scale, it sounds ok, I think bass line is G C F but, the chord is Dm7 G7 CM7, when i play Bb note, it sounds dissonant?
@BackingTrackNinjaBTN9 жыл бұрын
Schoolofrockk Hi Schoolofrockk! The second progression is, as you guessed, Gm7 C7 FM7. Maybe you could try to treat the second progression as a modulation to F major, and then the Bb note should be fine. :)

Yes, this backing track is a nice example of the power of Band-in-a-Box and RealTracks in the adequate hands, not just as song maker tool but also for producing great backing tracks like this. The RealStyle used here is the "Smooth Jazz Cool Style w/ Guitar" . The RealTracks are real instruments played by top musicians and brings an exciting human element, for example the piano RealTrack in this smooth style is performed by the Grammy nominatted jazz pianist/ composer Jeff Lorber, who recorded for PG Music as RealTrack Artist. To make use of Band in a Box in a creative way...or not it only depends of the user imagination , basically you only need to enter a handful of chords, pick a style, tempo and key, and click a button on the screen and voila! you got a backing track instantly! is amazing!

Yes, many like myself are well aware of Band-In-a-Box. I have been using the software for several years now. The issue is that is seems like the poster of the video is passing of BIAB songs as his own. I don't even think he even entered any chords. I believe I have heard this as is in BIAB.
@BackingTrackNinjaBTN8 жыл бұрын
Hi Troy! You are right that I am using Band In A Box for this track, which is a great software for making music. I do have a valid license to use the software, and I am entiteled to use is freely according to the license agreement. This backing track is, however, entirely made by me, and the chord progressions are 100% by me. I would recommend you not come with assumptions like that, before you have a reason to do so. Cheers!
@troysanders77758 жыл бұрын
+Backing Track Ninja 1. Licensing was never a issue raised so that information is irrelevant to my comments. 2. I would recommend that you keep your recommendations to yourself. I will make whatever assumptions I choose. I had a reason for my assumptions. People were under the impression that you played or sequenced the various parts. There was no mention of the software and it was no assumption that it was BIAB, it is obvious. The progression sounds like one already in BIAB but I take you at your word that it is yours. Now here's my advice....if you're going to pass off BIAB as your own performance (which you are licensed to do) don't be a smart ass when someone recognizes that it is actually the software not your performance that people like.
@BackingTrackNinjaBTN8 жыл бұрын
I have never claimed that the samples used in this track are from my own performances, and I cannot control what other people`s impressions are. I have created a backing track for people to enjoy practicing to, and I have done so in a 100% valid way. You are right: According to the license agreement, you may or may not give credit to BIAB, and I was totally aware of that. If you read through the previous comments, however, you will find that someone else has commented on this track using samples from BIAB, so you are not the first one to discover that. About your advice: I think people like this backing track because it has a nice chord progression that they can have fun improvising to, and it`s made with a great software so that it sounds really great as well. :) I hope you have fun jamming to this track as well! :D

Keep the multiple key change tracks comming dude. I will if it's ok, do a improv version on to sound cloud as user 735361361 of one of your tracks. Only if you say it's ok✌🏻️
