There’s no “glitches “ it’s called space and all great rhythm sections do this. Otherwise it would not have style and this does! And you can’t leave the bass out that’s how you follow the changes “chord progressions “ is by following the bass

Just a note: the backtrack freezes right after the 1st beat, in the beginning of the piece, when the piano plays its first chord. You may have to replace this backtrack...

KZbin, please introduce a looping feature in which you can slow down tracks and loop sections of them for practice. Like Auto Replay for KZbin thing but which you can use on here but which doesn't keep coming up with adverts all the time. Also something in which you can lower or raise the pitch of the tracks and change up to 6 semitones up and 6 semitones down so you can practice in other keys. You're impossible to contact so if somebody reads this please pass on the message to the team and give us musicians some extra buttons to play with here!!

You can google youtube to mp3 and get it for a cold blooded by ear session hahaha oh yes i feel you, you can write down the chords as you listen to them and watch them in the video, writing things down HELPS, put the mp3 on with your sketchbook full of chords from this pieces and mess around as you want if you can get a player away from the internet, big screeens, distracting tech, is better, turn to your favorite corner with the chords in the wall you will have a 1950’s experience of practicing, I don’t even do it myself but sure will, oh and you also can manipulate some playing speed on the video settings, let’s go die jamming with our instruments in our hands brother! If you're still looking for something to help with this, check out ireal Pro phone app. you can loop, slow down, speed up, change style and key, make chord sequences, drop certain rhythm instruments, and access a ridiculous library with almost any standard you'd want in it. You don't get the same feel as these backing tracks, but it definitely supliments the learning. Nothing like revisiting these tracks for a soulful run through once you've had a good practice around the changes in different keys and styles!

I play in Bb where you can play the whole song in F major but if you're using a C instrument then you can just use Eb major

I know this is from a year ago, but you can use an f pentatonic, f blues, dm pentatonic, dm blues, which will get you far as is, if you’re on a Bb instrument like trumpet. If you’re in C, transpose down a whole step, so instead of Dm it’s Cm and instead of F its Eb. So you can play Eb blues and pentatonic and Cm blues and pentatonic. Or you can simply follow the progression, so when its AbMaj7, you play an Ab scale or outline and highlight the major 7th somewhere in there. Or if a Bb instrument, play Bb scale or outline and highlight the major 7th in there somewhere
