Hi I saw your videos for the first time. Great Job! You are a wonderful host, such a sweat heart(I'm a gramma so I can say sweat heart)and I enjoyed watching you be yourself. I remember being young, I was a big time sewer. I have been sewing since grade 7, and I never stopped. Your cherry top; a curved strap/facing for lack of better term, instead of a straight one would have saved your top, for this design. However your solution was so cute and it worked, great problem solving skills. I love your wonderful energy and wit. Thank you for inspiring me!. PS I was in my late, late 40's when I took Pattern Drafting courses as part of fashion design in college. Try using cheep scraps (sew some pieces together too) or muslin before you cut the good fabric would save your the precious fabric, I use precious because there is only so much extra fabric limited amount of the cherry fabric. Also hand basting may seem like a waste of time but in the end I have come to appreciate the time it really does save and the results are professional looking too. I am a big fan!

The problem she had with the cherry print top having the "flappy" parts in back could have also possibly been fixed by adding darts to the "flappy" part 🤷‍♀️ Still came out awesome though!
