Btw, cleavers are not useful at the start of the story mode. The cleavers that activate the others at the same time are locked behind meta-progression

@@FyreJams yup, but most of the meta is stuff you got in the quick runs already, like 5 of the 6 areas, the 4 cleavers that activate others, some of the strongest legendary weapons, some of the relics like the ice cream, etc. I think they are locked to actually increase the difficulty and force you to slow down. The real new content are the quests, dialogues, lore to the world and buildings

Wow the meta progression stuff at the end seems fantastic. All of those different quests and unlocks and things to chase after will make this game have a lot more staying power for me! I'm excited to boot it up again after not playing since last year!

I love this game so much! I will say personally that I prefer the quick play mode to the story mode, but that's a personal preference. I'm glad you're enjoying it too :)

There are different modes and difficulty ratings you can play on, which can be unlocked by playing the lower difficulty games. I think it goes up to hard mode 5? But there's a bunch of challenge modes too that limit things like backpack space, items you get, and so on. @@mrdounos9373
