That's fantastic to hear you're a fan of Weta Cave in Wellington! It's indeed a special place for those who appreciate creativity and craftsmanship in the film industry. It's a shame that the 20-minute film isn't available anymore post-Covid, but it sounds like Weta Cave continues to offer a lot to its visitors. Hey there, as you can see from our video, for obvious copyright reasons you are only allowed to film and take pictures in the gift-shop and mini museum, for the tour itself, it's camera off!

Was there a lot of walking involved on the tour? Asking for someone with mobility issues, but not in a wheelchair. Thanks

You will be on your feet all the time, but you won't cover much ground, just walk, stop, talk, walk, stop talk etc... I hope that helps :)

But it sais the collectibles are made in China? Are they now created by hand by the people at weta or in a factory in China? Or is maybe just the packaging made in China
@NZPocketGuide4 жыл бұрын
A lot of replicas are made in China but there are some locally made miniatures available, they are much more expensive though.
@maximilians9174 жыл бұрын
NZ Pocket Guide thanks for your reply yes I Heard- only the master swordsmith swords are made at weta everything else is made in China based on their Prototyp
