@@khushi0706 If you are looking for budget friendly stay then we would recommend to stay in Mussoorie otherwise you can stay in landour but it's little costly.

Humne yeh journey picture palace se hi ki thi 4 kilometres ki. By walk time kaafi zyada lagg jayega lekin pahuch toh jaoge

It was pleasant back then. We also faced hailstorm during our Mussoorie Stay but these things are quite normal in the mountains. I recommend taking help of Google Weather while planning for your Mussoorie Visit as they're quite apt these days.

I won't recommend visiting Hills in monsoon. It's quite risky while driving as roads are either slippery or blocked by trees or landslides
