Just to make sure there is no misunderstanding, I farted in the sleeping bag as Bernie was jumping inside it.

Here I am sitting at a Beach house waiting for material to start working... I'd rather sleep in a tent in the mountains, then stay at this beautiful beach house. Great video Edward... Bernie didn't think that the log crossings were difficult at all... lol What an amazing place for backpacking. The Bernie footage at the end was cute. Thanks for sharing, take care Edward, Katie and of course Bernie.

Great video, beautiful area. Great choice in the tundra. I ran my Tacoma to the ground as a daily commuter and off road truck hit the fishing holes. My tundra is a tow rig now but hard miles pulling no issues. Beautiful shots and hike. Great vid again!

Nice vid Edward that forest look awesome the dew over the trees and Bernie was having a good time also. I have one of my favorite camp and hiking stops with a big waterfall. MacArthur Burney falls state park. And just south of that park you can hike up Lassen volcanic National Park. Now thats a real hike up that mountain. Take a look. Have a great day.

Great recap Ed! Is that a new water filtration system you are using? I recall seeing you used platypus before. Any difference between the two? Seems like you won't need additional bladder with this pump system therefore saving on some weight and space. I'm bummed I won't be able to make the group Alvord desert trip. Hopefully there will be more in the future. Thanks for the vid!
@KrokemOutdoors5 жыл бұрын
skyline400gt thanks! I’m using the pump filtration system from Katadyn (Hiker Pro). It definitely does save some space, and I brought this one instead of the platypus since I knew we weren’t gonna need that much water for a quick one night. I’ll usually bring the platypus when we have a multinight trip and I want to have access to 4liters at a time 👍 . Yeah man, it’s a bummer you can’t make it, but I’ll have more trips planned out and hopefully you’ll be able to make it to at least one! ✌️

Nice filming Edward ! The trees in that forest are gigantic compare to what we have here in the eastern part of Canada. Is there alway's a fire ban in that particular region? Thank's for the video
@KrokemOutdoors5 жыл бұрын
Bon Pecheur thank you! It was just this campground, because it was so close to the lake. Usually fires are prohibited within a few hundred feet of bodies of water here
