This reminds me of when we packed our bags left our homes 35 years ago, passing Kuner province, from Kabul to Peshawar,, another must see places, where I like to revisit.. maybe this time don’t have to hide from Russian fighter jets up above, and their soldiers with our own communist collaborators, with heavy heart of not having our dad, who was taken from our home at the middle of the night with no return 😔.. at check points.. maybe at a peaceful time, with a camera, and my kids, who are so curious about my journey .. taking them to memory land,,, Those orange trees, amazing gardens and valleys along high mountains.. unforgettable images💞 Thank you for sharing your journey. Samir Saidi afghanistans average elevation is about 6000 feet the central Highlands around the salang pass parwan and bamiyan reach 12000 feet but badakhshan province is entirely in the Hindu kush mountains so it's all mountains and very beautiful the most beautiful part of afghanistan along with Kumar nuristan and the salang pass 😊
