Hi there!! Thank you very much for this awesome video! I am assuming you are back from this trip? How did you like your Osprey 40L and Daylight Plus set up?

@campingalan yes I'm back! It was actually really good. Zero trouble with flying, fit perfectly. Having the day pack was nice to be able to carry around miscellaneous things throughout the city. Usually I was with at least one other person and we would only need one pack between us. Finding lockers for the 40L bag was really easy and a lot of train stations have places for them. Highly recommend it!

@tjbrooks_me Hello to you!! Thank you very much for the prompt response!! That is awesome....I will go back and watch your travel blog videos!! Ironically, we live in the mountains of Colorado, but am on a work trip to the big city of Des Moines Iowa hehehe. Don't knock it....the Scheels sports shop here had the Osprey 40L Farpoint and Fairviews, as well as a Porter 46L. My wife is with me, so we both put a 20lb weight in all 3 models to test them out. We both felt the 40L Farpoint felt the best. Ha...it sure is different seeing the pack on a video vice seeing it in person!! I am always astonished how much stuff can fit in one of those small packs ! Anyways, I did really like that Farpoint!! Though the extra 6L would have been great on the Porter, it didn't have as many strap adjustments. I have never read of one of these Farpoints failing anybody. I do carry a cpap, so I would totally want to bring a Daylight Plus pack too. By the way, with just a quick looks, it appears that a water bottle holder on the farpoint was not really on the pack sides; it was more like the back of the pack at like 7 o'clock or so? In a spot that of you hooked up the daylight plus to the back of the Farpoint, you wouldn't be able to carry a water bottle on the Farpoint? And what was the max size of water bottle you discovered worked?

Looks exactly like all the standard items and brands those youtube minimalist travellers recommend. But then with a crazy amount of cloths. Why bring so much stuff? They do have laundry machines in Europe..

Towel, Sliper?
@tjbrooks_me4 ай бұрын
Yes! So I actually brought a small towel but am mostly relying on places I stay to provide them. A lot of the AirBnbs provide them, but the hostels usually don't. As for slippers, I brought a pair of water shoes that I'm using for hostel showers but also for the beaches when we get to those! Hope that helps.
