Backpacking Four Pass Loop from Maroon Bells in Colorado

In July 2023 over 3 days and 2 nights we hiked and backpacked Four Pass Loop near Aspen, Colorado in the Maroon Bells Snowmass Wilderness Area. We hiked the 41.4 km loop counter clockwise camping in the East Fork Zone and North Fork Zone (we booked the permits late so we couldn't camp in the good areas). This was our first backcountry camping trip in the mountains and our first time being over 9000 ft in altitude so it was pretty challenging. This trail crosses four 12,000+ foot mountain passes and has some of the most beautiful views we have ever seen. I spent a lot of time doing photography this trip so there are quite a few photos mixed into the video as well as cell phone clips as I didn't get a ton of footage!
