Wow! I hiked from the Bright Angel Trail from the North Rim of the Grand Canyon way back when with my son and brother-in-law. We took the Bright Angel trail instead of the North Kaibab trail because the Kaibab was closed at the time and that gave us an opportunity to get a camping permit. The Bright Angel trail was well worth it. It was difficult and challenging but way better than hiking the wide North Kaibab as we did on the way back up. I didn't know about this trail and all the falls. I wish I had known and we could have done it. I am too old for that kind of hike now but I shared this video with my son. Maybe he will take his 15 year old son on this hike like I did in the GC when he was 15. Great video. Thanks for posting it.

JS, this video may be my favorite so far! PD and I watched with the kids and we were so amazed at the colors and the clear water, not to mention the sketchy looking cliff hanging…. 😳 great camera work. Hope that ankle gets better! Thank goodness for helicopters. Thx for sharing.

Just finally subscribed to your channel! I have been following you on Instagram for quite some time, but this is even better! Your video definitely made me wanna go RIGHT NOW! Those fun climbing and cave trails look awesome! You know what would be great? A little video on how to get the permits and how to plan for all of that, because I have read its' really difficult to get the permits. Keep it up with the videos! I will enjoy all of them!

Beautiful !! Have a few questions though, if I may The descend is not that scary so long as you are careful right ? Because some section look bad but I guess sometimes looking through the lens is not what exactly is there ? How long did it take to confluence from beaver falls ? Do you need a hiking pole ? Is it 6 miles one way from beaver falls ? Is it hard to follow the trial without a gps ? I see in the end at the confluence you walked into the water without taking the climb up the rocks around it. Is it safe ? I am just curious. Thanks for the video !!

Great questions! So the descent really isn't that scary as long as you take your time. There are so many good foot and hand holds! The confluence took us about 8 hours total from the camp grounds. Probably about 16 miles round trip and most of the time the trail is easy to find without GPS. But there were a few spots where GPS was extremely helpful and I would recommend having it

Tripa is actually cow's intestines or tripes, delicious in tacos tho. You should try lengua tacos if you haven't yet which is cow's tongue.
