Pukaskwa National Park is located on the north shore of the mighty Lake Superior. I camped here in the backcountry over twenty years ago and have finally made it back to do it again. Joining me on this trip is Emily Galvao and her dog Moose.

I did the coastal trail out and back in June. All 120 km. It is a beautiful and unforgiving beast.

No it is not well marked. No signs and no blazes. Only the very infrequent inukshuk. And the northern half of the trail is marked even less than the southern half.

Mostly. On the rocky areas you have to look for cairns but it is pretty easy to follow.
