BACKPACKING SAVAGE GULF 3 DAY LOOP Greeter Falls, Ranger Falls, and Stone Door | Episode 19

3 Day Backpacking Adventure at the SAVAGE GULF in Tennessee. Spent the first day camping at the Stone Door Camp Site. On Day 2 I embarked on an epic hike that took me to the Stone Door and Ranger Falls. That night I camped at the Alum Campsite. My first time at the stone door, a fawn meet me at the ranger station. Wasn't afraid of people and my scouts feed it cheezits. It followed us as we started our hike, but as we descended into the canyon it left. Great day hiking and seeing the stone door.

How awesome! I would have loved that experience. Thinking about it, I've not seen a lot of deer in the Savage Gulf considering all the times I've been. Hopefully I will get to return soon and hike the Collins Loop overnight!

Savage Gulf is an incredible place, I’ve only been twice, both this summer. I want to spend more time there backpacking.

Awesome man! What parts did you do? I'm planning on doing the rim loop and the Collins loop sometime soon. The stone door loop was amazing. I could've spent way more time than just 3 days there.

@@floralshirtrichard I hiked the Big Creek Gulf area both times. I’ve made it a goal to film every trail there in the near future. Also, great video!
