@@briharesfishingtours you might have better luck catching Goldens at Cottonwood lakes, 20 lakes Basin, French Canyon, or Monache meadows.

Any spinning lure really. I prefer panther martins. I have a video on my page that breaks down panther martins as well, but any spinning lure should work well for native trout in the rivers and creeks.

this is the Woodchuck trail that leads to woodchuck lake. the trailhead starts out right above the dam at Wishon Lake in the Sierra mountains.

If it was such a difficult hike, and how many people are in good enough shape with proper ( my backpack is to heavy) to get there. You can name the lake, not the starting point. If it's such a dam secret don't put it on the internet 🙄. Have fun in YOUR private lake in MY NATIONAL FOREST. You didn't bring a plate, and you didn't even know how to cut the fish to fit your pan. The internet is full of knowledge 🤣 😂 ..
