I've now made it to the South Coast of Turkey - to the beautiful coastal town of Kaş. I am still travelling with Jérémy and Ollie but we are no longer with the rest of our big group. I put my rescue diver qualification to good use with 2 fun dives in arguably the best place to scuba dive in Turkey. We also did a little exploration of the town and Jérémy and I went for a run around the local peninsula. We stayed at Can Mocamp Hostel.

Is travelling solo safe? - I would argue the answer is almost always yes! As long as you use your common sense and you follow your own government's guidelines about travelling in that country. I have made several videos on backpacking safety on my channel.
Do you have plans to settle down? Yes, I'm currently saving to purchase my first property in the UK and I'd love to have children one day. I doubt I'll ever live a completely 'conventional' lifestyle by society's standards though, as I often have my own preferred way of doing things.

Kaş sure is a very nice site for scuba diving. However next time you should try Northern Aegean (Seferihisar, Saroz, Dardanelles (especially for WWI ship wrecks)) And please consider diving at the Sea of Marmara around Prince's Islands.

Yes the price is cheap for the scuba diving but there wasn't much to see. I can see it was a fun day out in any case. 35 metres deep is really Max for an advanced recreation dive. How much time did you spend Ascending before a safety stop?, assuming there was one planned? Concerned they didn't ask you to prove certification especially for that deep....... Doesn't sound professional with an emphasis on safety to me. Cas is one of my must-see destinations when I travel to Turkey. Thanks for video

Price is cheap for foreigners. Tell that to the locals. Anyway, marine life wise in Kaş indeed there isn't much to see. You see an occasional turtle and some groupers. Yet, it is still the dive capital of Turkey because it features a lot of wrecks. Some historic, some submerged for fun. Most of the time you get awesome visibility as well. And you will find the most professional crew in Kaş.
