Salt is real bad for dogs it's as bad as giving them chocolate it will kill them, add brown rice, potatoes, sweet potatoes, beef bones,greens,carrots,coconut, no salt.. boil 4 1hr, in large pot should last 1-3days .. stay safe

Plenty dogs eating regular human foods and living long lives. I agree adding salt is not needed in this case since there's a bit in the mackerel but it ain't chocolate. Even the bad rep of salt for humans is actually a dumb cliche dating back to the 70's. Look it up. Salt defficiency is super bad. Plenty animals go around licking salt for their bones and overall health.

Raw chicken bones are fine they are not as brittle, cooked beef bones etc are fine its just poultry bones that are the worry. Glad you're both doing well, stay safe!
