Cool. Thanks for sharing. Taking the Tube from Heathrow to central London is quite convenient.

If you're going to Heathrow from Victoria, instead take the district line towards richmond or Ealing broadway then change at barons court or hammersmith. that way changing trains is literally a few feet. also if you want to change at green park, it's quicker to exit then go back down than go along those infinite tunnels.

You need to use Victoria line and Piccadily line if you use Piccadily you will be fast and not change everytime just sit and relax yourself.
@Ryan-zh9tz8 жыл бұрын
+Rezdy Tofan no you dont change from district line before Acton Town its quicker
@Ciaran1008 жыл бұрын
The first district line train on Sunday from Victoria is not until 0708 but this person left at 0702
@LJC945126 жыл бұрын
hey idk not Acton Town, Hammersmith. Because you have another 4 district line station in between but Piccadilly trains skip them hence faster
@TomKellUK11 жыл бұрын
Nope, change at Barons Court since it's just across the platform (like Acton) but you don't stop everywhere between Hammersmith - Acton

From Victoria take the District Line towards Richmond. Get off at Hammersmith and the Piccadilly line (to Heathrow) is the adjacent platform. This avoids the long walk at Green Park.

If we have underground metro stations like this in Lagos Nigeria, will be a very good thing
@meinemeinung272410 жыл бұрын
@Waseem Mohamed Change at Hammersmith, because Piccadilly line trains are not stopping at Chiswick Park, Turnham Green (only a few stop here), Stamford Brook an Ravenscourt Park ;)
@istvanklein10 жыл бұрын
Next time use District from Victoria to Earl's Court and change to Piccadilly there to avoid the long walk. I think the District Line starts quite early too.

Best way? Any district line or circle line train going west then change at south ken for piccadilly line. But if you are on a district line train to Ealing or Richmond (not Wimbledon) change at Barons court and Piccadilly line trains pull up beside you on the same platform. simples. Its the same at Hammersmith one stop further. But avoid tube between 7.30 - 9.30 and 17.00 - 19.30 if you can.

If I were you I would have changed at Hammersmith since there are no stairs between District and Piccadilly line. And I think this way is quicker than the way which you took

I don´t like the tube, The walkways are really long, Trains are too small and ugly. Please search "München Ubahn C Zug" and compare it with the Underground. The Munich Metro is much better.

Well sorry that you obviously do not appreciate our deep level tube trains. Maybe next time stick to suburban rail services like Thameslink and the sub surface underground lines such as the District line, Circle Line, Hammersmith and City line and the Metropolitan line. Our systems are quite old, but they still work for many millions of people EVERY DAY.

When I get to Heathrow, what floor do I go to to catch a train to St. James Station? Will I have to change trains or can I stay on the same one all the way there?
@agent_6056 жыл бұрын
You mean St. James's Park? Go to the Northbound/Eastbound Piccadilly line, then when you get to Hammersmith change to the Eastbound District line as far as St James's Park

@themarmaliser998610 жыл бұрын
spitfireale60 Some people have are afraid of hights , my dad dosnt like going pass floor 5 in a hotel. (sucks for him , when we were in vegas it was floor 50) anouuuuukx You have nothing to worry about if you go to london again. Just hold on to the handrails and if you cant do the escalators , go to the stations with step free access (there installing/installed lifts at most stations)
@ElevatingEurope8 жыл бұрын
+Emmire Vargas Or just take the lift
@FireHawkGaming8 жыл бұрын
Back when they first started using Escalators, they had a man with a wooden peg leg go up and down on them all day to demonstrate their safety. Just stand on the step, hold the moving rail and you are down in no time. Some lines (Circle, H&C, Metropolitan and District) are right below the surface and most of their stations do not have escalators at all, or not very long ones.
@anouuuuukx8 жыл бұрын
FireHawk Gaming I'll be going back to London in May. Think I'll might try going down an underground escalator again.. terrifying haha 😅

Approximately how long would you say it takes from Terminal# 3 (Gate: 17) to National Express Bus station? I will be traveling soon. After I will land in Heathrow, I will need to go to Gatwick, I am planning to take a bus. I will have only 3 hours from plane to plane. Any useful information would be greatly appreciated.
@backpacktrot5 жыл бұрын
Nation Express Bus Station (aka Heathrow Central Bus Station) is within a slow 15-minute walk from the arrivals exit area of Terminal 3. It may take 10-15 minutes to walk from Gate 17 to baggage claim (and additional time queuing for UK Border clearance for non-EU/EEC passport holders, which is the least predictable time factor). Best of travels to you!

Why isn't exist a direct line which connects at least 1 of the 4 airports to London itself?
@backpacktrot6 жыл бұрын
I know of Bank Underground direct on the DLR to London City Airport. Victoria Station direct to Gatwick on the trains of two companies (cheaper on the one with a few stops), and the high-speed and high-priced Paddington-Heathrow direct. There may be more .... :D
@clivegoodman165 жыл бұрын
London is a big place. The Piccadilly Line goes to Stations in Central London and to Heathrow airport. There is also a Heathrow Express which goes to other stations in Central London.

Are the trains to Heathrow terminal 1, 2, 3 & 4 separate from the trains to terminal 5?
@agent_6056 жыл бұрын
Trains to Terminal 5 stop at 1,2,3 first, whilst trains to Terminal 4 stop at Terminals 1,2,3 after Terminal 4. There is no direct service between Terminal 4 and Terminal 5

Your videos are unique, the best of their kind. But you really need to develop some ability to handle the camera settings. Get a real camera! The averaging done to make the frames smooth is nausea-inducing. You can turn that off and still have IS with a real camera. The world as seen through this camera reminds me of a drug experience. It's not pleasant. It's a shame too, because absolutely no one has a better eye for detail or such a love of travel in all forms.
