Corky... love the show. Bought my first car in 1967 from Furlow Cate Ford: a 1967 Mustang, 289, 4-speed. I'm writing a newsletter article about the experience and wonder how much you may remember about Furlow Cate? Was there a salesman there named Bailey during that time?

This is like total recall.....I remember an episode on (I think it was Hot Rod TV) that showed this good ole boy driving around the country side in a white step side, kicking tires and haggling for deals on barn finds...I thought "They could make a regular show out of this". Of course it adds tremendous clout having a genuine knowledgeable aficionado on board as the host. I hope they don't screw it up with too much argument drama...and don't clutter it up with product placement...in fact, when you get to that spot in the show when you want to name drop a manufacturer's product...just show us a beautiful woman leaning on a cool car for thirty seconds, and have the product somewhere in the scene=sponsors happy/and we're happy !

Looks promising. I hope there will be no fake or scripted drama and 'impossible' time-lines.

It was actually the opposite for us. We built all eight cars in about four months while on the show they made it look like they magically restored themselves in a few seconds with little mention of the actual work put into meeting the deadlines (which by the way were close to impossible) fun stuff !

Corky- I watch every car show that I can find and believe me there are some really good one but there are some that the content is fine but the "personality" on the show itself is really annoying. I've watched all of your videos on you tube but I've never seen any of your videos on tv! I don't understand it, you are such a likable person I can't believe someone hasn't picked up your show! Anyway keep making the videos I'm sure I'm not the only one that enjoys them. Thanks Tracy Johnson

timothy m. scott yes, there was actually a guy that got the nickname Honest Charley. His real name was Charley Card and he was from Chattanooga, Tennessee, where he founded Honest Charley Speed Shop in 1948. Corky Coker now owns Honest Charley, along with many other car-releted businesses, such as Coker Tire.

Honest Charley was a real guy! He started the very first mail order speed shop right here in Chattanooga in 1948. In fact, some of the original employees still work here.
