This is actually a VERY interesting take on the "random person falls into the Backrooms" premise. Not one but _two_ victims, they were _actively sucked in_ rather than gravity doing its thing, the entry point was functionally a "wall" (or at minimum, not the ground or floor), they actually had radio contact with each other (to a point), and being astronauts and therefore trained in science, they immediately went toward documenting and trying to science a way out, or at least to leave a useful log should anyone else ever find the tape.

Are we not gonna talk about how Matthews was talking 'from the forest' and then was found captured down a hallway, with no possible visual window between the two events? I think something inside the forest (a second monster) was impersonating him WELL over the radio, trying to lure a new victim. That's why the main character was verbally pretending he was going in, as he instead went down the second hallway. Notice also how impersonator Matthews stopped talking after the main character fully passed the forest entrance. It saw him ignore the bait, but it can't leave the forest.
@glenngriffon80329 ай бұрын
I suspect Matthews was already dead by the time the forest entity was trying to lure in Miller. There was a theory going around that people who die in the backrooms are turning into the creatures but here we clearly see Matthews body uncorrupted but apparently the lifeform was assimilating him. Probably to learn everything Matthews knew in order to better impersonate him or something. Also notice that the backrooms itself is taking on more complex rooms. It's also apparently not limited to earth. This is nicely supporting my theory that the backrooms is a conscious, sentient, living, self-aware universe that "woke up" when A-Synch punched through into it and now it's shaping itself based on human psychology. I suspect that it assimilates people and their knowledge to better understand the world and how to model itself.

14:40 Why does that sound like Matthews screaming? If you listen closely, you can hear that it sounds like him screaming as if encountering and being killed by the same bacteria that we see at the end. Like what @CassiePOE said about the 'forest monster' impersonating Matthews and luring Miller well over the radio communication, and how Miller's line of communication to Matthews completely cuts as he tricks this forest monster. I think the same is happening here when we hear a scream from a distance, though the mimic entity in this area is a lot more subtle than the one in the forestrooms. The entity on the forest is blatantly attempting to lure Miller into the forestrooms, as opposed to the supposed mimic in the normal backrooms where Matthews is, which simply tells you where 'he' is. It's making Miller traverse more into the Complex, just so he can find these 'drop-ceiling, yellow wallpaper and carpets' area that Matthew's is in, not realizing that he has been (supposedly/what I think to be) dead since he entered the officerooms. I haven't seen anyone talking about this slightly-too-human of a scream, I understand that you may think that it might be a mimic bacteria screaming or something completely different, but it does sound like a scream that Matthews would make, at least that's what I think.

NASA spacesuits, known as Extravehicular Mobility Units (EMUs), typically weigh around 280 pounds (127 kilograms) on Earth. However, it's important to note that the weight experienced by astronauts in space is significantly reduced due to the microgravity environment. In space, the spacesuit's mass is less of a burden because there is no gravitational force pulling it down with the same intensity as on Earth.

Um, OK, let's fix this. First, weight versus mass. Mass is something that does not change due to gravity, whereas weight does. So something does not have mass 127kg "on earth." It's always 127kg. "Space" is not a "microgravity environment." They are in ORBIT, where their velocity counteracts the gravity of the planet, so there is NO GRAVITY felt by the astronauts. In space MASS IS STILL MASS. Nothing changes. Inertia is exactly the same. Mass is exactly the same burden. I appreciate you trying to explain this to someone who skipped basic science in grammar school, but it's easy to get things right. ASA spacesuits, known as Extravehicular Mobility Units (EMUs), typically weigh around 280 pounds on Earth. Their mass is 127kg. However, it's important to note that astronauts are weightless while in orbit. In orbit, it takes less work to more a bulky spacesuit since you are only working against its inertia to get it moving, and do not have to carry the weight like you would on earth.

Interesting and scary concept regarding the way they *both* entered the backrooms. That shuttle was moving fast af as it was orbiting. So, whatever point they entered through was either also moving, or super duper long and possibly curved and it was a complete miracle the shuttle lined up with it.

This is one of my favourite series, and the creator does a really great job. I do have some constructive feedback though: 1. The partner astronaut Matthews becoming panicked and losing it was in concept a great plot point, but it probably would have been made much better in practice if it precipitated from him being the one hearing the creature, or from seeing it briefly and describing it to our character. It would have also explained him removing his glove or trying to escape quickly etc and would have added tension, especially if his last radio transmission was screaming or him saying he was being chased or heard something etc 2. The spacesuit being absolutely covered with blood and a big bloody trail leading into the next room was good, except when we finally did see the creature holding Matthew’s , he was totally unharmed and didn’t have a single drop of blood on him which made no sense, it also seemed to imply he was still relatively aware of what was going on but he didn’t really make any sounds etc until he was thrown against the wall and basically splattered everywhere. This scene didn’t really explain why he was taken out of his spacesuit, why the creature had hurt him so badly to remove him, only to hold him up and throw his body against the wall again as our character walked in. 3. The visuals of everything were great, except the low poly render of Williams which made it appear much more video game looking, and completely broke immersion, especially with the previous 2 things I mentioned prior, which sucked because it was right at the crux of the story and the most attention grabbing moment. A possible fix for this would have been to simply leave him in the spacesuit (less likely to look fake) but leave a bloodied boot or glove before the drag marks, as a sort of defence wound, and to confirm it was him, and then distant screaming etc. Then, maybe showing Matthew’s flailing with his injured hand/foot etc. 4. The “I’m the shuttle commander on this mission” comments were a bit cliche, and would have been better served either as a strongly asserted statement telling Matthew’s to snap out of it and pull himself together, or he could have taken a more compassionate angle, and said something like “I know buddy, this is crazy.. let’s just find each other so we can try to figure this out and get home to our families” or something to that effect. In any case, this is an excellent series, and I am truly grateful for the many hours of hard work and dedication that is obviously put in. Please keep it up, we love it!

I have ALWAYS wanted to know 2 things about the Backrooms that NO ONE EVER has posited about online? 1.-WHO HAS GOTTEN OUT and posted ALL these “found tapes”? Because that means that someone has traversed all the levels of the Backrooms and found all these “tapes”! Then that person or people, somehow made it back out to put it online for all of us?? 2.- HOW MUCH THE LIGHT 💡 BILL HAS TO BE FOR THE ENTIRE BACKROOMS!?? Because it’s got to be an astronomically large number?! OR…..It’s some crazy space-time Vortx, time continuum, free-energy thing?
@Gekigundam8 ай бұрын
1: The backrooms itself is probably allowing footage to be found. usually be A-sync teams but some times the tapes get out to Earth. 2: it's extra dimensional where physics and time are more of a suggestion than a rule. so it might either tap into zero point energy or the souls of those poor bastards who get lost there.

@@Gekigundam Good answer 👍 But just for arguments sake…I would STILL LIKE TO KNOW JUST HOW MUCH THE 💡 LIGHT BILL WOULD BE A MONTH? 🤔🤔 Thanks again for your reply!
@wkGeoff8 ай бұрын
@@bradrankin844 There's 5,280 feet in a mile. Let's say there's a light every 30 feet, that's 176 lights. Then for a square mile, 176x176 = that's 30,976 lights in a square mile. If the lore is that the backrooms goes on for 600 million miles, we multiply 30,976 by 600,000,000, that's 18 trillion, 585 billion, 600 million. If each light takes 60 watts, so we put that into kilowatt hours, so .06 kilowatt hours, so that's 1,115,136,000,000 kilowatt hours. Multiply that number by 24 for hours in a day and 30 for days in a month, we get 802,897,920,000,000 kilowatt hours per month. At, say, 13 cents USD per kilowatt hour, that is 104,376,729,600,000. TLDR: So, just over 104 trillion dollars a month.

This is the best Video I have ever seen in terms of Backrooms, you are the first person that has ever done a backrooms video for a occurence in space!? No one has ever done this, (to my knowledge) a no-clip event into the Backrooms IN SPACE?! I don't know what is more nerve wrecking being in free space and your body shakes violently not knowing you're being pulled through dimensional doors and have no clue why, and not knowing if you're going to end up free floating in space till you die from space dust tearing through your body or running out of oxygen or something, or being destroyed by whatever is on the other side! This is by far one of the most creative, and unique backrooms videos I have ever seen, a lot of the other ones that I see on youtube are generally all the same, (e.g someone noclips into back rooms and coughs) and it all has the same generic lvl 1 introduction - while those creators of those backroom videos are very talented, and have done an amazing job and still enjoy them, your Backrooms video has changed things up a bit, and I hope this encourages others to expand their creativity. Man you never cease to amaze me, you are very talented and creative, it would be cool if you could make a backrooms movie, maybe you and Kane Pixels could make a part 2, since Kane is making his very first actual movie! THis is very well done, the voicing acting is so good, I love the storyline in this video, it was well put together and to be honest this new direction in the backrooms world is a serious head turner, I am blown away, you've made me fall in love with Backrooms all over again. This was so awesome, and so different compared to standard backrooms videos. It was really cool seeing the spacesuits in the backrooms. The room designs were so good, there was just so much unique rooms and nothing repeating and that's the best kind of backrooms. The concrete wall with the cracks + mold in them in the office area was an awesome detail never seen that or even anyone else use concrete like this in the backrooms. The ending was insane, so well made and it really looked creepy af. When the cameraman ran through the dark hall right before reaching the room with matthews in it that felt really creepy with the veins all around him that wasn't visible until the end. The kill was ruthless and disturing in an awesome way, i don't think i have ever seen anyone actually showing a monster killing a person in a backrooms video before but either was this was really well made. I have a few complains here tho: 1. The footsteps are EXTREMELY loud it's just ridiculous it's as if he has a mic under each foot, there is no reason for it to be this loud. It made watching a bit hard. 2. After a few minutes in the backrooms I don't think any person in the world would keep on rambling non-stop and actually realize they aren't getting anywhere with it. Him describing the rooms in details is just completely unessesary, the footage speaks for itself. he wouldn't have to describe all the rooms so detailed or even at all, only to his friend since they are trying to find each other. There's a monster screaming in the distance and the door even opening itself and he's not even phased by it as if he isn't afraid like any other human would naturally be but nope he just keeps on documenting the room while being chased up the stairs like what? Why was hia focus not to run for his life for example? And this i assume is them being in the backrooms for over an hour, meaning he has been rambling and talking loudly during all that time which would also let the monster very easily follow him without the slightest difficulty. There is just sadly no survivor's instinct for the cameraman here.

I think they probably have to follow a survival protocol or maybe as he states at the start of the video at 5:30 that he documents the recording if it is picked up by someone

I'm referring to vowel shapes and consonant pronunciation, not slang. Again, this is minor, but it would polish well if you hired voice actors, or had dialect coaching. If you impress the people who notice the little details, your general audience will have a more authentic, more immersive experience. Yall are doing well, keep it up

Great new idea, also that the astronauts have radio contact from time to time. The monster at the end is a good idea. But maybe also time, that somebody noclips to the Backrooms, that will kick some monster's asses. For example somebody with heavy weapons from the army noclips to the Backrooms. Do guns help again these monsters? Or with fantasy: A person with special mentality and supernatural psychic powers noclips out of a secreat laboratory or army jail into the Backrooms, and can fend of or hold back some entities with the psychic powers? There is no limit for new Backroom adventures, so I very like this new video with the astronauts.
