This is a 3D animation I made based off of @kanepixels Backrooms series in which a company called Async testing low proximity magnetic distortion has their project contaminated with unsafe levels of mold. One of the employees contracted the mold and ended up separating from the rest of the crew. The team later finds his remains and are forced to end the expedition early.
Symptoms of exposure to [REDACTED] include: hallucinations, paranoia,
shortness of breath, and corticobasal degeneration.

Great video! One question though, what was the purpose? I know about the mold and such, but why would doctor beck betray them? They seemed to realise something was going to happen or they've been set up once they saw the molded body, so maybe they were infected with the mold and he had to close it? Aside from the obvious impossibility or atleast unlikelyness due to their protection gear, if you look at their legs while running, there are black spots or something on them, so maybe it clung to their suits? I really don't know, any insight would be appreciated, though. Edit: after reading the description, it seems like that body is a former worker who contracted the mold and died. It still doesn't answer the question of why he betrayed them, though, or why they "cut the experiment off early"

Thanks for the replies, but there is a new video that just came out that gave a reason. They apparently detected the mold in the facility, and closed the threshold to contain it. The 2 remaining researchers commented on this, saying that the mold is all over them, but they should be fine as long as they don't take their protective equipment off. Other than that, no spoilers. It's a very good episode!

Going on 10 years strong. The originals sucked - Born in Creepypasta, Always like how it says there's no food /water and there's anomalies and creatures. Its really strange how we had to do this in our head years ago, now we get some good visuals, editing software being common. I wanna see it done using the unreal engine they used for the Mandalorian. If I’m not wrong probably the 3 hazmat guys touched to the goo and the scientist wanted to evade contact with them being infected, so he closed the portal, and killed the one who manage to get in. That theory comes at the end about hallucinations, paranoia and etc. the too late Morse code has something to do.

I think some of that fungus got on their suit. There's some black stuff on the bottom of their suit. There is no cure for it. To keep the fungus from spreading into the world, the scientist tried to trap them in the backrooms. This is also why the scientist shot the one who made it through the gate.

@@floseatyard8063 Despite the hazmat suit (knowing how the infected corpse managed to rot the wall) he was still possibly infected and the suit couldn't protect them regardless, before they head back a short scene plays which appears to be a virus spreading in a petri dish - hence the ending message and the morse code "its too late", a serious plague/outbreak may have begun coming from the backrooms and it was too late to stop it, even after attempting to dispose of the last guy to avoid it.

This is really good. It would be cool if you showed them learning to no-clip and establishing contact with m.e.g. . Also because level 0 is non linear running along the cord won’t lead to the exit. It’ll probably just take you back where you started. Also again because it’s non-linear no corpses have ever been found on level 0. It is assumed there are tons of them but for some reason the level just doesn’t want you to see them. This is however a really well created and creative take on entering the backrooms.
