Welp, today is a sad day. We dive in the M6 to find out some more problems the car has then we had some BMW M Series Pro's come look at the car and the news we've received so far is pretty bad. This project just got a whole lot more expensive than I hoped for. So BIG Decisions are being made on how this project will continue....

Work for insurance and with Iaa and Copart It was totaled out for a reason. When buying vehicles at Copart they're 95% insurance total losses and have extensive damage. Every now and then you'll find a diamond in the rough, but they're mostly too expensive to fix which is why they're there.

Not really. What these guys probably did was to buy this car from a 3rd party on Copart, which is a big no no. Even the Goonzquad boys did it with their recent M3, but at least they realized their mistake.

thought you guys were mechanics and calling other mechanics just to scan the car... was excited for this series but damn at least try to fix it. If you use ISTA you can check which harness is faulty and you can see which wires are not getting voltage.

You don’t get it …it’s a BMW you can’t fix those pieces of shit ..even their own mechanics can’t figure it. Their scan systems are German garbage and leave them guessing. How do I know? 135i engine went completely out stayed 4 weeks at a BMW with a master tech swapping parts out and trying to fix until the end ..engine failure. Plus the cost of each part is stupid expensive …never buying BMW again.

@@lichnaish I have £40,000 in a £3000 BMW e90... I also have a Maserati built by Ferrari with a Ferrari engine which costs me 1000s for any part. Just a normal service on it is £3000. If you don't have the money to maintain them don't buy them. Also the car community is about just that. Building the car is the fun part and part of the journey. I really don't understand why you would setup a youtube channel about building cars then quit saying you could just buy a running one LOL what the fuck is the point of the channel then?

i own 2 s85 monsters, most of the time its the smg pump or the inner seals on the shift solenoids go bad so the system doesn't hold pressure therefor can't do shit ! you also should have the bmw programs like inpa ista dis and others as well for this type of car

I have an e60 m5 I pretty sure if you change tlyour throttle body actuators ( both of them) those problems with the abs, speed sensors will go away. Thats what I did and I did it myself. I bought rebuilt ones that were half the cost and lifetime warrantied and comes with better and stronger innerds "if thats a word" believe it or not. When that E60 cant breath, it throws tons of electric codes. You can buy what ever but no engines sounds better for under $250k and make the hairs on your neck stand up ..

You could have just bought a Carly or used INPA on your laptop for free normal scanners will not tell you what BMW codes are really in there. Wish you would have told us the codes before scraping the project

You need an smg pump. Start there. That car def idnt a 50k fix. Get ISTA+ and go from there.
