I think that Sweden is not responsible for this, the competition has been completely deteriorating for two or three years. Last year the carpet was also limited but today it was horror. Indeed with the climate of insecurity that doesn't help and I hope the show will be better !

I think the problem that Electra struggled there with is speaking English the same way they speak Swedish. When you are the listener in a conversation in Swedish you have to be very active and you have to react to almost every sentence with either "yes/no/sure/okay” or short phrases "that's fun/that's cool/that's sad/etc.". And all of it is mostly meaningless. You just do it for the sake of doing it. For me, as a Swedish speaker, what they said didn't sound weird at all, but I get why people are a bit confused.

Sweden this was embarrassing! 30 seconds interview, 3 minutes break! No actual turquoise carpet! Interviewers came unprepared and with dumb questions. I understand you wanted to put drag queen, but then at least make it look professional. Production 0. Gave us nothing! Hopefully actual contest will be better, but according to the rehearsal videos doesn’t look like it will.
