It wasn't that Howie couldn't sing it in that clip of him and Brian from one of his DLF events, he was being silly, singing "Brian please don't make me sing!" before. He sang Brian's part and laughed when Brian forgot after singing Nick's part lol

Was there a reason Brian was meant to lip sync? Is that due to his vocal problem? Either way I'm suprised cause even still he'll still sing live

a lot of the lower register stuff in the shows are lipsynced because thats what he has the most issue with. The high notes and falsetto is live. I guess they are just trying to somewhat maintain his voice during a tour. Its been a decade so its safe to say that he wont be improving that much at this point.

For low notes, yes. They somehow manage to pre-recorded his voice due to his dysphonia symptoms. So, it still sounds like live but not THAT live. CMIIW.

Brian has 2 seperate vocal conditions so during the tour some of his parts are not live. It also depends on what kind of day he is having. Thats why he forgot that he was supposed to lipsync.
