still getting crashes constantly with the mod @@zinovisionn

Is NVE bricked now? I am trying to use the newest free version that released in October. I did everything is this video and also tried overwriting with original preupdate with the the two update files in (Update) folder. I get through the NVE cutscene and to the main menu. Right before loading in, CTD. I tried with the reshade that's provided, but that's a near immediate crash. I have a legit steam version.
