Backup saving parameters on a Fanuc 0-TC control, Miyano CNC Lathe, CNC Digital, Inc.

Thank you for the very informational video! Do you have the procedure for loading the parameters back into the machine? One of our machines has had the Delete+Reset command done to it and im starting fresh. I was hoping I could copy the parameters from my identical machine and load them into my wiped one.

INPUT OF SETTING PARAMETERS PROCEDURE PRESS DGNOS/PARAM KEY (SETTING PARAMETERS INPUT) (MAKE SURE SETTING PAGE 1 ARE CORRECT) ISO=1 I/O=0 E-STOP PRESSED IN PWE=1 MEMORY PROTECT KEY OFF (TO THE RIGHT / ) MODE SWITCH = EDIT ENTER 900 OPTION PARAMETERS BY HAND CYCLE POWER TO ACCEPT OPTION PARAMETERS E-STOP OUT PRESS INPUT LSK SIGNAL FLASHES (LOWER RIGHT SCREEN) SEND DATA FROM PC. INPUT SIGNAL FLASHES (DATA BEING ACCEPTED) INPUT PC DIAGNOSTIC PARAMETERS, TIMERS, COUNTERS. PRESS DGNOS / PARAM KEY TWICE. Hey! Why didn't you press EOB when downloading the diagnostics? And what was that you explained at the end about parameter no.1 and 502 and 503. Can you please explain it into simple words. I will be very grateful.

The bit at the end was regarding the serial communication settings. This should be established before transferring files as you need both the control and pc to have matching settings. These include the baud rate, data bit length, stop bit length. Hardware handshake etc. If your coms settings work and you can transfer files via rs232 then you can ignore those settings as they are fine.

No. I purchased the cable on ebay. Just searched for RS-232 to usb CNC cable.
