I like how you're revitalizing the game with this story mode concept! It's kinda like Monster 4X4 Master's of Metal(the second MJ game) where you unlock trucks from Douglass the Millionaire's collection from winning the offroad races he hosted(which were pretty much just waypoints). Happy to see something similar again!

The thing missing from the wild cards is that if you go to the garage, you have even more missions, and I think they can give your wild cards more boosts.

To unlock backwards bob do you also have to have all 5 collectables too?

Yes! That's how you unlock Bob, not the Collectables for the individual trucks, just the ones on the map.
