troy’s horrific item box luck in this video summarized: NMEADE RACEWAY: 1:54 - item box stolen by another player 2:03 - no chain 2:10 - got the item box, immediately shocked out of him 3:21 - bumped by donkey kong, forced to stop in order to get item box 3:31 - no chain after pulling triple mushrooms in 10th 3:49 - misses last item box by an inch DELF-RNG SQUARE: 4:27 - item box stolen by another player 5:18 - NMeade tells troy “i hope you get the worst RNG of all time in the item boxes now.” troy immediately pulls a bomb, can’t do shortcut. 5:40 - bumped by mario into a wall, misses every item box 5:59 - pulls golden mushroom in 10th, gets shocked out of him within 5 seconds. no amount of optimism will help here DESPERATE HILLS: 7:44 - 7th place item box stolen, does shortcut, takes lead without any items 7:50 - chose the 1 out of 4 item boxes that led him directly into a poki as soon as his star runs out 7:53 - pulls 2 straight FIBs in 1st, inevitably gets redded 8:18 - pulls banana, blueberry pie, and red shell in 4th, can’t do shortcut 9:07 - pulls triple mushrooms in 8th, gets target shocked right before the shortcut, fails shortcut NMEADE64 BULLET BILL’S CASTLE: 10:25 - item box stolen by another player 10:49 - bumped by king boo, item box stolen, but thankfully another one appears anyways 10:53 - pulls star in 10th, immediately gets target shocked off the bridge. missed BAM SHOCK DODGE opportunity 11:38 - does shortcut which gets him to 2nd with a bullet bill, but NMeade’s curse is so strong that it causes the bullet to go backwards to 9th, then troy is immediately bumped off the bridge. you can’t make this up 12:19 - no chain 12:43 - barely hits the item box, but troy immediately hits the lava pillar and falls off 13:08 - pulls triple mushrooms in 9th, but he immediately hits a random ground green shell and gets shocked again. yet another missed BAM SHOCK DODGE opportunity NO ITEM BOX GARDENS: 14:22 - no item boxes available, has to stop and wait for 3 seconds to get one 16:12 - immediately shocked after getting an item box on lap 3, everyone else close behind him gets items 16:25 - bumped by yoshi, item box stolen by yoshi 16:29 - king boo uses bullet bill, one item box is stolen by mario. troy stops to get the second item box, but king boo bullets the chain chomp which causes it to go up in the air, also causing the item box trailing it to perfectly bounce right over troy’s head. wow. 16:37 - hey, at least troy got this ite- LOL nevermind, he got bombed. maybe he can still recover? 16:42 - this is where not having a power item hurts the most. while mushrooming through the shortcut, troy gets starred in no man’s land, ending his race TWaluigiD98 STADIUM: 17:38 (aye) - troy knows for sure he’s not getting the item box, doesn’t even try to get it 18:20 - successfully chains, but hits the front of the finish line sign, comes to dead stop 18:57 - at least this time he was bumped by another lightweight, right? 19:32 - mega mushroom runs out, troy gets a face full of steel railing while in 2nd 19:43 - misses two item boxes in a row, finishes just behind 2nd place YOSHI FAILS: 20:42 - pulls single banana in 3rd 21:13 - troy still managed to get to first because of his elite karting skills, but the MK gods still have a bone to pick with him. pow/blueberry pie at the start of lap 3 on a short track. ladies and gentlemen, this is called foreshadowing BLUEBERRY PIE VALLEY 2: 22:01 - LMAO instant karma 22:11 - troy doesn’t even want the item box anymore 22:37 - pow forces him to use star, misses chain because of that 22:54 - hey troy, here’s that red shell in 2nd that you wanted. SIKE, YOU’RE GETTING A BIG OL’ BLUEBERRY PIE ON LAP 3 ON A SHORT TRACK YET AGAIN!!! 23:05 - TWSalt98 23:14 - do i even need to say it? i’m sure you can guess what happened. item box stolen by another player, troy misses the chain. what a fitting end to one of the best (or worst if you’re troy) FlounderFest episodes ever i’ve never seen someone get mario kart’d so hard in an entire session. what could have troy possibly done to enrage the MK gods? and i didn’t even include everything else that went wrong for troy, just the horrific item box luck.
