What’s so strange is that I used to fantasize about my husband and I playing and singing this song together… I just thought it was pretty, and haunting…. Came to find out he’s been lying to me all these years… Manipulating me for his own benefit… gaslighting me anytime I asked him questions…. I really loved him, and I thought he really loved me, too. Now i understand why I was drawn to this song. I was the devil’s plaything

@Patrick Bertlein It was a homage to the older English pronouns of the second person singular, thou, thy, thee - "Love sometimes steels into thy heart." Most languages are beautiful if they remain to be themselves, I believe.
