Die Aufzeichnung des Konzerts fand am 15.04.2001 beim Rockpalast-Osterrock Festival in Düsseldorf statt.
Es gibt Gitarrenbands, die auch nach vielen Jahren immer noch dieselbe Energie ausstrahlen, wie bei ihren ersten Gigs: Backyard Babies aus Schweden gehören dazu.
1987 im schwedischen Nässjö gegründet, haben Backyard Babies bis heute erst einen Besetzungswechsel durchlebt, und diesen gleich zwei Jahre nach ihrer Gründung. Seit 1989 steht die Band um die Sänger und Gitarristen Dregen und Nicke Borg wie ein Fels in der Brandung und hat ihren straightforward Rock'n'Roll nicht nur am Ende der Achtziger, sondern auch durch die Grunge-Ära und die Nullerjahre hindurch ohne Kompromisse an den jeweiligen Zeitgeist durchgezogen.
1994, als Dregen parallel die Hellacopters gründet, wird es ein paar Jahre ruhiger um die Band, doch 1997 geht es mit dem zweiten Album "Total 13" munter weiter. Die Band spielt u.a. im Vorprogramm von Alice Cooper, Motörhead und AC/DC und gehört seit Ende der Neunziger zu den bekanntesten und wichtigsten skandinavischen Rockbands.
2009 feiert die Band ihr 20-jähriges Bestehen mit einem großen CD/DVD-Set, 2013 veröffentlicht Dregen sein erstes Soloalbum. Backyard Babies sind weiter aktiv und entfalten live nach wie vor die Wucht, für die sie einst berühmt wurden.

Some of the songs are OK But I don't listen all the time actually think whatever.... Maybe a little bit over produced I don't know... reminds me of Motley Crew As mean punk rock an rollers ..I would say its Not my favorite band I would listen to all the time But at least there out there on the stage doing it More then I can say for myself...I would give these guys a question mark ❓ 🤔
