I was at this game as well. It was at University of Tulsa stadium, and being from California, I had never seen a HS game like this before. Kejuan Jones was expected to be an NFL back, and started at Oklahoma for his first 2 years. Then came a kid named Adrian Peterson who took the job. Kejuan never played in the NFL, always wondered what happened to him. I still tell stories of this game in California.

I read an interview from 2014, he was living in Tulsa and married with 3 children. Had a job at a sheetrock co. and also was a trainer for his wife who was a professional mma fighter. Seemed like he was doing good

@@asdfjkl5713 he played a major role in very beginnings as to why Class 6A split up into 2 divisions. Gotta remember, jenks already won state back to back and union lost to Midwest city before jenks dynasty #1 the year before that being the last school from western Oklahoma or not jenks or union winning which was 1994 I believe. He went to Hale freshman year but to my understanding and I know GUYS who played with him in middle school at Cleveland Middle School which is feeder school to Will Rogers which is where I transferred to from BTW and played QB and Free Safety. Hale lost to Jenks in the regular season but was winning 20-0 at halftime and all of Tulsa was buzzing! Jenks came back and won by 1 point. Infamous player rally at my boy grandma house and they ran out of gas on the field, couldn't finish and that jenks team was the Legion of Doom death squad! Only regular season loss of his career! Matt Holiday - Stillwater, torched them in the State Quarterfinal and Holiday ditched football and won 2 world series rings with the St. Louis Cardinals. That was his last high school loss ever! Moved to Jenks district and been Oklahoma high school greatest ever since! 49 in a row I believe. AND the school to break their streak was Springdale H.S. Arkansas at Springdale. The next season jenks won on a 41 yard field goal with 7 seconds left. Made Springdale coach famous and he bolted for Arkansas with his players. Gus Malzahn inventor of the hog wild but better known as the Wildcat Option and current head coach at UCF. 1990-2004 was the golden era of sports in Tulsa.
