Im curious about the pop up emitter. Seems as if the end of the pipe turns up at a 90 so wouldn’t the pipe be continuously full of standing water beause the water would only evacuate thru the emitter when the level was high? Im concerned about if mosquitoes would find a way to breed in a tube of standing water. Maybe i dont fully understand how that works. Its a clever idea and im interested in it for my property. Nice video btw :)

Thank you. The pipes and at the elbows have small holes that we have drilled in, so there would never be any standing water. Thanks for watching!

Only one course for the timber garden bed? Also was a french drain used instead of a pop up because of how close it was to the house?

Yes, I tried to sell the client on a 3 course garden bed, but that wasn’t in the budget… yes, the French drain was used because there was no other option being so close to the house. There was a sewer basin on the other side of the fence, so when the French drain fills, it would overflow into the sewer 👍🏻
