I think you should leave it black to highlight your other accents💜💜. You should also put the light on a timer so when you come in it can be on so that it’s not dark walking into the home. Congratulations on your endeavors. I like it very much💜💚❤️💙. Team Matte black 👍🏾.

I love the light where it is. I would have probably put it a little higher, but that's just me. I also agree with some comments about using a timer or motion sensor for that light so you don't walk into a dark space. Painting that trim black really made the accent wall pop. Loving all that you are doing. You are so inspirational!!!

Wow, u lost that much height from spinal surgeries. What kind of surgeries were they if u don’t mind me asking? I’ve had spinal decompression surgery and now I’ve been told that I need some hardware added to stabilize my vertebrae at a couple of levels. Did ur surgeries seem to have given u the desired results? I’m sorry if I’m being too nosey.

Gurl... you just took me back to my childhood. My mom had 2 hammocks on our patio, which was my favourite napping place, but girl did I hit the pavement a few good times before mastering getting up. Lol🤣🤣🤣 good memories.

I think the lamp is perfect!! You should keep it where it is cause it allows you to place other thing(s) to hide the cord. Bringing the black magic to the floor was a great idea too. I just love your house!! I low key was sad to see the gold and white go. Esp after you cleaned the plant stands. But I have to say, the black is Poppin.

Omg! No lie im literally sitting here right now eating pink Starburst! When you said those blooms reminded you of that I had to pause this and comment right away. I recently moved into a luxury apartment/condo that I'm decorating up tbe street from my house and sitting here saying to myself I need to redo my backyard at my house. Always love watching your videos. Love the hammock, had one years ago, but my neighbors kid broke it. It was never replaced, but after seeing how comfortable yours looked, maybe time to replace it. I like the 1st pergola, just the style, looks more inviting. The matte black looks great. For the hall, I would definitely put in a motion sensor, so the minute you hit that area, the light comes on. The black wall 👍🏽👍🏽. Keep those videos coming.

Love the baseboard painted black it looks like a whole wall.. It makes the wall look longer. I like the first pergola.. but the second one was probably your choice because of the flat top. The 2 stands just got a few more years being painted black. I would leave the hammock frame black.. at least until you put everything together.. I like the light where it’s at now but maybe finding another way to hide the cord would help.. I think either way will be nice light up or down.

Girl you are batting 100 right now...that wall looks so much better with the baseboard black as well. Also, the two tables look amazing matte black!! Love it!!! 😍 The hammock is gorgeous!! You may want to keep the hammock in the shade or covered since this Florida sun will destroy fabric. LOL I like the details of the first pergola. The second just looks plain...I guess that's the look of modern design. Great video!! 😉😊

I bought the backyard discovery pergola from Wayfair in black. I love it. It's really sturdy (I had mine anchored into the concrete). I got the more traditional looking one (Stratford) because my home is more traditional. It's an expensive piece but it's definitely a great investment. We are always outside and I'm sure it will add value to your home.
