speaking of apricots, there are still a few orchards in Santa Clara County. The city of Sunnyvale preserved 10 acres, now known as Orchard Heritage Park, and in the summer you can buy Blenheim apricots from them. Also, Lisa Newman's book 'For the Love of Apricots' does a great job summarizing the history of orchards in the area, and includes a lot of great recipes as well.

It all depends on the firm you buy from. There are good ones out there. She found one. This company also has add-on units to expand the size and number of rooms. A friend did two in a tee-formation as principle dwelling on an empty lot, and a smaller (350 sq) satellite unit for a guest house. Abodu also does all the site integration and permit work so you have no legal pitfalls.

USA, Illinois. At age of 71 I quit raising chickens and rabbits as hobby. Chicken and rabbit coop consisted of 3 sheds connected to each other. Big, smaller and smallest. At one time previous owners had garage Metallica band practicing there. So I decided 3 years ago to make house of it. I worked on it 1 year & spent $20K for material. Removed some walls, made cathedral ceiling. 650sq feet (60 sq m) of living space. Already paid off . One nurse with dog lived there for a year, my wife's sister rents it now when in town for doctors and retired doctor wants to rent when in town visiting from Florida. I am afraid to make it airbnb. I do not know who will come. Every shed can be turned to house! Do it man and collect $.

An aside yet entirely needed to point out is: hosts deserve to be referred to by name. If you tap the segment title, the host's name will be shared so its that easy. It means you'll give an extra 5 seconds to learn the host's name, yet that will create a warmer touch. Believe me that's not much to ask, and in turn the comment you give will feel more sincere/ with warmth and greatfulnes.

Not a fan. This here is the norm in Germany. Housing is too expensive (30year mortgage, payments @ 1/2 - 1/3 of household monthly income), so children choose to delay becoming an adult and instead live with their parents indefinitely. Bad for those people. But not only. It also means that housing is now mostly inherited, not bought. Be already rich or die trying.

There's something really gross about American attitudes towards houses. This building is a completely normal sized home for a family in the UK (there might be a second bedroom if there are kids but that bedroom would be shared with bunkbeds) and they're all behaving like it's some massive sacrifice of space and such a novel idea to live in a "tiny" house. "There's actually enough space!" Yeah. Yeah, there is. What are you people talking about?
