You should also focus on interviewing upcoming raps to try boost their music as it is tough right now for upcoming hip hop artist to push their music in South Africa this time.

Lucas can really rap and we love him for that. 031 To The World is his debut project and he's still young, there's still more room for growth, he is experimenting and finding himself while at the same time trying to overcome the challenges that delayed his progress in the industry. Everyone starts somewhere and learns but eventually he will be comfortable and perfect his craft.

I genuinely enjoy how he articulates himself and his ideas. His mindset and sincerity are gonna take him far. There will always be room for improvement and it was positive to see that he acknowledges that without being overly defensive. He has the potential to be great and should remain consistent with his craft. This was one of your best interviews with a rapper this entire year

His album is not bad at all it’s just that SA is not ready for his sound, we’ve seen this before with Priddy Ugly and them. The production on the album is unfamiliar and there’s a few relatable songs for an average joe in the streets. The album is well put together in my opinion. I also appreciate the mixing techniques done by his sound engineer. Insane!! “South” is my favourite record. 🥦

Honestly on first listen I didn’t vibe with the album but I think I’mma go back and listen cause I think too much of the time we limit artist just because of what we want to hear and our expectations which is not right or fair. When an album is whack you should be able to say… All this bias is why SA Hip-hop is dying because the media is lying to these artists. I’m the only honest person reviewing music right now. That’s why my content makes such an impact. I’m gonna put a lot of Vodcast out of business soon. 2022 is going to be a cold year for some content creators!

Its funny bcz when Rappers become Musical and be versatile, you crush them, bashing them that they wack, "you miss the old guy or rapper". Naw when one sticks to what they know and nail it, you now criticise and they don't have a musical experience, they should listen to more music, and be versatile. I'm not saying the project is brilliant, but be consistent with your commentary. I'm just saying. Personally, Lucas should have featured artists to spice it up and make it an album, coz I feel like this is a tape, not album🙏. Love his raps thou, they hard

I hear you. But sometimes to be able to tell stories we must be part of the journey so that it's relatable. The debut album is an introduction where everything is fire fire fire. Nothing less. Where as the sophomore is all about depth. How life has evolved for an artiste from just being a regular kid to a full blown powerhouse. We get to hear of the dark side of the industry, then the fake friends, the heartbreaks, the ones around only for the money.
