I drove a 1970 Petty Blue Super Bird 440 cid Torque Flight 3 speed when I was 17...burned through two tanks of Sunoco 260 gas in one weekend! Freaking Amazing!!!!
@dukecraig24022 ай бұрын
You must not have been driving much, 2 tanks would go easy in one evening of hot rodding around. Spent alot of time parked and in the back seat huh?
Air grabber is standard on Hemi road runner’s Torque boxes only at the front of the rear springs.

The original paint on that Chevelle is gorgeous. I’m glad whoever previously owned it stored it correctly. The L-34 was the 350 hp option. It’s a shame that the original engine is gone but it makes a great daily driver. He has a model from each one of the big three manufacturers. This guy must have a nice income to be buying these cars in today’s market!

Greencastle? You ever go down to Hagerstown to watch the flat track Harley's? I'm from Uniontown and we used to make every race there, years ago when they had 2 every season at that track was the greatest, then they reduced it to 1 a year and now they don't come through there anymore, what a shame, that used to be such a good time, eating bay crabs and chugging beers at the Gateway Restaurant at the entrance to the track, man I miss it.

A couple of reasons for painting the car white underneath. One it's very easy to spot leaks, and where they come from and what they are because of the white paint and second one underneath the car and helps to see things better because of the white with light reflection, those are two reasons for people painting them. Especially race cars.

I have a 09 challenger RT with a six speed. I recently sent the VIN to Dodge administration. Fiat Chrysler sent me a email a few days later. It says my car is 1 out of 110, with these unique features. It's basically very low to no options car in TorRed. It has 37 thousand miles, I wonder if it will be worth anything, or if it's worth more than a regular 09 challenger RT now.
Very curious what he’s gonna list that red Mustang for? Any info or if anyone has his Contact info I would reach out to him to ask about that Mustang.

@archieguitarz47002 ай бұрын
Could be late production but the louvered hood was standard on the 71 R/T. One year only, by 72 it was replaced with the regular power bulge hood.

I have a buddy who has built 3 "Winged car" noses...Superbird & Daytona, and his are much less crude than how they came "Back in the day." Contours, lines, gaps- far better than Creative Industries put on. He did the trunk spoiler on my A-body, all in metal, took it from quarter extension-to-quarter extension and it looks factory to most people. That Chevelle is really sharp, too-

A quick way to check for small or large bolt pattern rims is the small has a half inch stud hole and the tip of your pinky finger barely fits and the large pattern rims have a larger hole about a ⅝ and your index finger will fit Of coarse depending on your hands.

I just spent a week wandering around rural Pennsylvania. There were good paying jobs back in the day, which allowed people to buy expensive new muscle cars. Secondly, much of Western Pennsylvania is rural once you leave Pittsburgh. Not a lot of guys with deep pockets digging around for barn finds like in Nashville, for example.
