UE - Recently Closed Hospital, Found Prosthetics Room

I explored this hospital a while back and have been waiting for the right time to upload the video.

Damn, this is the time they should be selling all that equipment, or donating it. Before it all gets destroyed. But I'm sure they won't. This is why healthcare costs so much in this country. They build a new hospital and just leave millions of dollars of equipment in the old one to rot. This is a strange country we live in.

You people know that the mirror and shutter sound in a DSLR is an artifact of actual moving parts, not just a sound effect that you can turn off right?

Higher-end cameras have an option for "silent shooting" for wildlife photography and the such. It's not 100% silent but it is much more quiet

I really do hope they plan to collect some of that stuff. To think things like the Wii were donated to the hospital for sick children just to be left there makes me not happy. Some of the equipment looks still in perfect condition. So wasteful.

I have often considered starting a business that goes into such places and sells random equipment from them, split the profits with owner of the property. I mean, who ever owns it, it is doing them no good to have all the stuff sitting and rotting. Might as well get a small bit of cash out of it. I often do not as I feel I do not have all the connections I need, and I have never been the best sales man.

Is that Sublunar? I was hoping you two hadn't broken up. This is my dream home. I strive for hospital clean. 15:38 I'm guessing that is the room for making casts. Would explain why it looks like cement was strewn around it. Love you guys!

I don't think that was a cast room. They're usually better organized than that. I wonder if it had anything to do with the prosthetics. They appeared to be made and repaired there to some extent.

I've never done anything like this myself but I find videos like this interesting. I'm curious what the laws are if no one catches you while you're there, but finds your video later? Would they still be able to do anything since there is clear evidence of you being there?

why did the place shut down???? Its sad to see all the hospitals shutting down and all the buildings and the stuff that is still inside it going to waste. Not only is it a waste of money but its a waste of a place that the wildlife was living and they all had to move for them to put a place that they are just going to shut down. They can reopen it or something instead they will let it turn into a death trap and then they might do something with it. Its so sad.

there may have been an accident that happened that rendered parts of the building unsafe for occupancy, thus the whole thing had to be abandoned. Looks like there was a ton of mold, dirt, powder, and some strange yellow-brown stuff all over some rooms.
