Fatsat is much more informative in cases of skull metastasis or soft tissue inflammation in this region. Thanks for sharing!

Hi Bac. Love your videos! I noticed at 2:16 that you have a transversal 3D FLAIR by Siemens. We don't have it on our scanners and have been struggling to adapt a sagittal one to our liking (MPRs are always blurry even with exactly the same resolution or true isotropic voxels). Could you export the sequence to PDF and send it to me?
@Nguyen_MRI Жыл бұрын
what software are you at? this is directly from the siemens tree. E11e
@heinzbecker5281 Жыл бұрын
@@Nguyen_MRI Thanks for your fast answer. E11 but something prior to E11e. Siemens doesn't seem to offer anymore updates since our scanners are too old.

@@heinzbecker5281 ok give me your email and i can send you the e11e flair from siemens.

Hi Bac! Can you explain option at 3d space flair in Sequence card-assistent-part 2, there is option flip angle mode- T2 Var- T1(940) and T2 tissue(100). I got better image when i change T2 tissue into 200 but I'm not sure that I'm not disturbing the other parameters. Best regards
@Nguyen_MRI2 жыл бұрын
Good question. To be honest I haven’t put my mind in to those parameter yet. It’s cool you get better image. But better in contrast or?
@TheBeastSoul2 жыл бұрын
@@Nguyen_MRI yes, contrast is better, muscle tissue and optical nerve is much clearer and artifact from top is smaller (you fixed it with 2av).
@Nguyen_MRI2 жыл бұрын
@@TheBeastSoul awesome. Just crazy big range of change possibilities.

Can you share your tips how to improve 3D flair on Siemens vario 3t and also please tell me how to check software name
@Nguyen_MRI4 жыл бұрын
Up in the right corner you will find info. Inside there you see software version. Also regarding your flair. What is the wrong with that?

What is that T2 prep duration doing exactly?
@Nguyen_MRI4 жыл бұрын
it allows more complete recovery during the inversion time than a classical IR pulse and hence increased GM/WM contrast for a given TR.
@ryandraeger63924 жыл бұрын
@@Nguyen_MRI thanks. Where in the pulse sequence is this time placed? After the IR pulse?
@Nguyen_MRI4 жыл бұрын
This new pulse on flair is also very new to me. So far I seen improvements. But haven’t got the chance yet to fully sit down and look into the depth of this. However, I also saw the prep pulse was on 125 ms. I believe this pulse goes first the IR next. I hope one day I will understand more, but I need to test it more and get my hands on the theory part as well. Thanks for your interest.

Hi can you write conclusion for your video at the end.
@Nguyen_MRI3 жыл бұрын
That could be a little bit difficult due to all the tips and tricks I share directly at the scanner is very hands on. Need to follow step by step in order to understand the outcome.
