I just viewed your latest video and I see you included the Circle Inn in your list. I have to say this is a very nice hotel for the price. When I traveled to Bacolod this past November to get engaged to my lovely Filipina, we spent almost a week at the Circle Inn, and I recognized the security officer and some of the desk staff from when I was there. The restaurant there is pretty good and so is the room service. However, if you call room service for drinking water, be sure to order bottled water for the service water isn't filtered as well as it should be for a hotel; if you catch my drift. Luckily, my fiancee took very good care of me when I was down with the trots, and as soon as I started drinking bottled water and Gatorade, I was feeling better in no time.

Circle Inn rocks, good secured parking and very centralized location close to everything one can need. Easy to get taxis.

Thanks for this and thank you to all commenters for your suggestions. I will be there in May and I will definitely need a place with a pool to cool down. And a good home base to explore the area. I am retiring in the Philippines this fall and trying to pick the ideal landing spot. Atm Bacolod, Iloilo and Davao are top of the list. It is going to be quite the adventure to visit all 3 by motorbike, very excited. A little concerned about the heat but a pool/springs and lots of bottled water. Cam

If you don't like the heat try somewhere in the mountain areas, like Valencia, Dumaguete

@@asianight9188 I visited there and liked it, Also many towns in central Bohol including the Strawberry farm in the mountains near Mayana. The road from Jagna to Sierra Bullones has more corners than any road in Canada. 27 km of steep and twisty, super cool road. Bring your 650 there!

Cheapest air condition double room with cable TV and own bathroom free WiFi in bacolod is the Onbun Pension house. 630 pesos =$11.50.
