Basically this guy just protects the puck by spamming backhand, putting the puck behind his back and circling till a one timer becomes available. Sad thing is he gets shut down by skill zone. This video epitomizes how broken this game is.

You should have seen the guy in NHL 14 on xbox. Heinz Jr was his tag, and after we played he was 765-20-5. I got super lucky and won 4-3 because of my TOTY Bishop and my overall team was worth about 12 million pucks, but this guy didn't rag at all and was hands down the best guy I've ever seen play

When I play NHL, I find it tough to play a style that isn't somewhat realistic, which can be a detriment. Seeing the "best player in the world" play really makes me want EA to have a more realistic hockey game.

I play a somewhat realistic strategy against my much more skilled friend that has helped me win a few times. Aggressive defense, and a lot of passing non stop In the offensive end and you'll score

Bacon one time my hockey team was in a tournament in PA and my kept track of how many penalties we took and we spent two whole periods on the PK and still won the game. The refs didn't like us we had a lot of bench minors lol

Great game. Learned alot. You talk about guys playing skillzone which means keeping the user controlled player in front of the crease correct? It looks to me you were doing that quite a bit in this game to defend the cross slot one timers. I love your videos, very entertaining but which is it? Is that good defensive strategy you used to win or exploitation? Im not sure, just want to know, i might start incorporating that into my strategy since I have been stuck in div.4 for 2 months. Bacon should do a series called: playing against subs or playing against fans to replace trolling on ice. Like he choses a few subs per week and play them. Would be fun and do a 1 time thing too. So you can only play once so everyone gets a chance

On the Ps4 this is the way. You hold L1 and X down at the same time as one of the skaters. You will switch to the goalie.

i feel like nhl is too based around connection. If you're not host you're automatically put a severe disadvantage due to button lag, assuming you're opponent isn't from the same region as you. idk could just be me but i really feel like some games im dominant because all my skills are working as soon as i press the button so i can react faster and then other games i cant do anything because i cant react fast enough to what my opponent is doing as well as my opponent is doing all the moves lightning fast.
