Since it seems like you know the code busters event do you know if the hill, affine, and vigenere cipher will be used and where would I learn about this. Also ur tutorial is rly good. Thanks!

Hi! The affine videos have now be uploaded, so if you would like to check them out they are all in the Code Busters Playlist. The Hill videos will be coming out soon, and since Vigenères are so similar to Caesar I don't think I will be making videos for them. Thanks for watching!

So, did bacon write a code in "Shakespeare" ?

No. There's people that think he did but there is actually no proof that suggest he did.

Thus seems like an overly complicated version of the baconian cipher. Once you know that every letter in the English letter is represented by a five letter code system, and that certain letters in that code are different, it's pretty simple at that point. The letter A is represented by five letters and none of them are different fire example you could use the word "there" to represent the letter A. As you can tell none of the letters stand out in any way indicative if the letter code for A. The word "as" could be represented by the words "there'S deaN" as you can deduce, s is represented by five letters, the first and fifth of which are different indicative of the letter s.

Thank you for your insight, Edward! What you described is a different yet elegant way of looking at Baconian Cipher. However, it might be helpful to know how the combinations of letters came to be, and I found resorting to binary code a reliable way to remind myself in case I forgot or messed up on the spot. Once we get through the first stage of unfamiliarity, your method does save a lot of time! :)

I can always find ciphers interesting. I even creates my own cipher that only i know by heart. This cipher is more complicated because mine is just a cryptogram style cipher.
