CK FENCING PLIERS - UK LINK amzn.to/3fN2e1Q USA LINK amzn.to/3d20pfG
CK FENCING PLIERS and what they can be used for. Here I demonstrate how useful the CK Fencing Pliers are (part number T3866). These are a high quality fencing plier which can be used for removing staples, starting staples, cutting wire, hammering, crimping and twisting strainer wire.
This is an excellent all in one fencing tool that would be well suited to a lot of people including fencing contractors, DIY enthusiasts and small holders / homestead types ! Brilliant for dealing with strainer wire, chicken wire and stock fencing.

I hope you enjoyed my review of the CK T3866 Fencing plier which would be ideal for any fence building project.

Those jaws on the handle side are used to pull the wire tight when you're trying to tension it. Placed against a post and draw the wire up (usually barbed wire)

The beginning of this video was me a year ago before I discovered fence pliers. On round posts driving staples is even harder without one.

My stepfather has a couple pair of (probably) ChanneLock brand fencing pliers. I've spent several hours using them, and they have saved my fingers a number of times!

DeWalt makes a good one too... It'll go good with your 16oz DeWalt hammer. FYI... If you're a contractor or handyman who works on mobile homes these are a must. They have staples top to bottom

Are they made in China? The Chennellock brand looks the same and is made in USA. A nation with decent labor and environmental laws.

Reasonably priced wire fasteners you could put in with a drill driver would be nice. Post bounciness is annoying. Come on gripple, make something up.

First mistake: staples should not be nailed with the grain of the wood.

Those things are next to useless for most jobs, chap hardened material with a hammer and it'll shatter. (Seen it happen! ) Use as hammer to drive steeples every time . Knipex end cutters will remove steeples, cut any wire and sit in your back pocket, all for £15, just my opinion though! Good informative video!

Thanks for the comment, I only really use these for removing staples and cutting wire and to be honest. I think they are fantastic, especially for removing staples (the main reason I bought them). I don't use the hammer as it is not really meant to be used frequently, I think it is there only as a back up to get you by if you don't have a hammer with you. The wire cutter function is actually a lot better than I expected, they cut through some substantial wire due to the long high leverage handles. I have knipex end cutters too, but I think these are better at removing staples in my opinion but each to their own. Thanks again for the comment 👍

I dread to imagine how many times I've hit various pairs of these with hammers to get behind an over-driven staple or pull a rail off a post and I've never had a pair shatter. In fact I use them almost exclusively in that way, because on most makes I find the jaws aren't sharp enough to get in behind a staple.
