One might be that it's Japanese, which to someone like me, an English speaker (assuming you are as well) it's easier to hear Pyro speak Japanese due to it already sounding to us slightly like noises rather than actual words. Another reason could just be how the ai works. Even tho Pyro speaks muffled, you still give the ai actual words it has to speak, so it automatically makes coherent words for a character that isn't supposed to be.

I'm not a native English speaker and in 2007 my English was nowhere near as good as it is now, which makes Pyros English audio effectively as good as the Japanese one. It's not that understand Japanese and therefore know Pyro is speaking words, it's that the noises have clear vocals and consonants which is not the case with the original English audio, which sounds 'properly' muffled

What I really appreciate about this cover that many other AI covers don't do is synthesize the harmony as its own separate channel. too many out there just slap the AI in, and let the single voice synthesize all the different voices as one track, making it try to sing for multiple voices on a singular channel.
