thanks for sharing. must be fun if you have a camper there and shower somewhere after a long day flying. nothing for beginner pilots like me and for sure more dangerous due to the "show off factor". i couldnt agree more with you as you said dont judge but maybe would be a good idea to turn it down a notch. i love your little sleeping place!
@ParamotorNC Жыл бұрын
If the drive is not too far, an event like this is great for beginners to come to and just watch and meet people and check out gear. I have a setup for showering outside in a tent but there were a couple of showers available at Hodges Field. Yeah, I was so happy to spend a couple of days here.

Hopefully I'll make it next year. Moving to Tennessee in less than a month and I plan on attending both Bad Apples and Moonshiners.

Very cool... I'll try to be at both.

Where can I find a list of the fly-ins around the South East? I'd like to check one out sometime. I'm near Laney's airport but never seem lucky enough to catch them flying. They've always just been hanging out waiting for the wind to die down. That's the main reason I haven't pursued paramotoring yet.

Is that Andy Fuller sewing a 3-point quick-release on to a harness? Allways adding safety to the industry...Andy you do it well! More volume I hope, will lead to bigger & better things! If there's a worldwide estimate of 30,000 & a U.S. estimate of 7,500 paramotor pilots that at least have gear, then that should keep you pretty busy; especially if they plan on flying over water.

Yes. Andy also lead a seminar on SIV. Awesome.

I know you say to play it safe, but literally, these are the best places to push your limits since so many people who know what to do in case of accident are around.

Yeah, having the response team on the field is a great benefit. Shout out to those guys.
