My laptop has served me good ash. People pay 2k or less or more if they like that just to get something that a $600 laptop could run and do. Obv it has certain things it’ll do way better but bro. People just like to buy expensive shit to say they have the best device. Dw bout it dawg jus research and you will be cool. I promise you that you can and will find a good ass budget laptop/desktop for cheap ash and will still run the same games as a good ass pc. I’m not the best on this stuff but I know this for a fact. I always wonder why trucks lift up from the front driver side when they are pulling a heavy load. Shouldn’t both sides go up?

What's up Harshaan!! The way the crankshaft than the drive shaft spin. (Clockwise view from the back) When the power goes to the differential, imagine the weight of the load retained the truck but the engine want to continue his job.. so it torque and make the frame want to lift up 😅 hard to explain but I hope it works !!

Do you find in your experience that the manual trans in this game closely simulates the real life shifters? In other words, if you were shifting like this in real life, would it work the same?

This is a great question !! Yes and no.. It's a good thing to practice floating gears on this game for the ''foot and hands'' coordination, trying to rev match perfectly. But we are far away from a real transmission on a truck. You don't even feel the gear on the shifter.. You need to try a truck to understand !

if youre not comfortable disclosing i totally understand: around how much was your setup? currently playing ats with a ps5 controller but would love a full setup especially with an on the ground shifter. also wondering if with the shifting can you run an 18 speed trans? if ats supports splitting gears and that stuff. any input appreciated :)

Yes ATS does indeed support range splinters, you can float gears as well and all that good stuff I don’t believe it registers the clutch brake in semis but, there’s all sorts of wheels and shifters out there and even monitors and stands for them and seats browse around see what you like I’ve got a bit of money in mine $8,000 in the pc alone. But if moneys an issue go cheap, you can get the Logitech g920 and the shifter and pedals with it for like 3-400 bucks I believe still, it can really expensive mostly depends where you look you can even get button boxes with a CB radio as your mic and more goodies good place for the button box if you don’t wanna use a tablet or something and want an actually dashboard like box Jeff f. Can’t remember how to spell his name but he has a website you can customize the face and there good quality and not to to expensive. And so much more it’s all about preference and what you like

Just like Fhfive said, you can make it between 2k and 100k. Mine with the PC is around 5k-6k CAD. If you're a real Trucker, you'll see the way you can float the gear. You need to release the fuel pedal completely to engage the gear even if you're spot on the perfect rpm..

@@DB7GamingSimulator I bought ZEEMODS 3176A and it is great. The c16 was updated and that’s what made it sound that way. But I’ve used some of Slav jerry mods on steam workshop and his mods are better than a lot of payware mods

When I first got the game he was the one I got my first engine mod from and I used it for a while until I found out about payware mods. Do you have the FishPants modding steering wheel pack?? It’s a cool mod. Gives you the “Forever Sharp” steering wheels
