This finally proves my point that the final scene with Vader and Aśoka’s lightsaber in the series finale of the Clone Wars isn’t “6 months or so after Asoka and Rex crashed during Order 66”. Years had passed in that final scene. Based on the condition of the Venator Class SD and the Storm Troopers looking like they do in Rebels and a New Hope vs these early troopers it has been a long while. Also the Tie Fighters flying by vs V-Wings shows a greater passage of time. It took the Empire a few years to develop the look it had in the Galactic Civil War era.

No hate to your theory as to why Ventress is back, but I’m really hoping that it isn’t resurrection. Her death at the end of Dark Disciple felt very tasteful to me, and I feel like bringing her back would undercut that moment. Instead, I hope that maybe Quinlan Vos makes an appearance, and we see flashbacks of some key moments from the DD novel. Just my thoughts, thanks NR!

i feel like some point in this season we could see a young thrawn at mount tantis which leads to ashoka season 2 where he is back there and is cloneing an army + carrying on palpatines mission throught the dorne things in battle fornt 2 campaign we see

Don’t know if anyone else noticed, but “the calvary has arrived” is the first sentence we heard from a member of The Bad Batch (Wrecker) when the team was introduced in season 7 of the clone wars, very interesting and cool that the last episode is referencing this.

Well considering dark disciple is still canon these are my guesses as to why Ventress is still alive. 1.she’s a clone created by Palpatine to test out the cloning process but she went rogue but this is the weakest one of my theories 2. she faked her death using night sister magic so she can just live a quiet life or to at least get the Jedi and Sith off her back. And I feel like number two is the more possible one

I think the Ventress footage will be flashbacks to reintroduce Quinlan Vos. Probably to bring in The Path. I don't think Ventress is going to be resurrected.

I actually think the ending won’t be a big twist but a shocker, The Cavalry has Arrived is related to Darth Vader finally showing up to eliminate the Bad Batch, a little full circle as they were with Anakin when we first met them. I assume Omega escapes alone and might join “The Path”, leaving her character open to show up down the line, maybe in Ahsoka Szn 2 or elsewhere.

The domed structure orbiting Coruscant is probably a Skyhook. They first appeared in Shadows of the Empire. Many orbit Coruscant, some are bases, some are space traffic stations & some are residential for the filthy rich like Prince Xizor.

Regarding the Path, Jedi: Survivor also contains the Path AND Nightsisters. I'm still clinging to my desire to see Cal/Merrin jump into TV/movies :D Bad Batch DID bring Bracca into the TV canon! I really think I need to read Dark Disciple ASAP. I love Assaj but I've been putting off reading it because I was trying to work through a bunch of other SW books but now I've got to do it. Plus, I love tragic love stories, haha. And I find her such a fascinating character - I'm a sucker for a good redemption/waking the line between dark and light arc too. I wonder how this might connect to both Palpatine's cloning plans along with what we see going on in Mandalorian/BobF with Grogu. That said I do NOT want them to imply that Rey/her father are 'good' due to some genetics. iMO the whole power of that arc is that it's about your choices and the person you choose to be, not just some genetic destiny. Sometimes family cycles/dynamics repeat themselves but I don't know that it's strictly about genetics, but more psychology/influences.

"The Path" has a very loaded meaning in the High Republic side of things, where it's actually an anti-Jedi religion/cult, so not likely but still kind of interesting if they use it as you suggest. Special hyperlanes are also called "paths" and "every Jedi walks their own path" so yeah, they are playing with that word a lot in THR and it's always possible they'll come up with some other ways to use it.
